The firmware has been updated for Power Bay series products shipped after October 2020, modifying the default mode of the controller to "GameCube Controller mode" and supporting vibrations. Please refer to "Firmware Update" for more details.
The product adopts Qualcomm CSR SoC and the latency is only 40ms - the human can’t hear the latency lower than 70ms, so you will not notice that the sound is actually slower than the image.
If you are a Super Smash Bros. true supporter, I think you have got the point. Super Smash Bros. has always been a milestone for all gamers, either when you hang out with friends or have fun with family. The GameCube Controller represents the best of every happy time (cheering after winning) and touching moments (weeping after losing).
”Power Bay” and ”Power Bay Crimson” also allow you to set the GameCube Controller to the continuous mode.
*Make sure to " press and hold the Turbo key for at least five seconds " to change the input mode.
Controller, headset, expansion adapter, even Mario wheel, these two ports are enough for you to connect with multiple devices. We also put extra attention to the input stability and latency issues of the external devices when we first designed “Power Bay” and “Power Bay Crimson”. Our Brook Fighting Board is well known for its exceptional “Stability” and “Low Latency” globally. Do you think we will exclude these excellent features in the new product? Absolutely not!
We conducted a test before launching the product - Randomly choose 10 screens between 20” to 60” and observe the image output from the HDMI port of “Power Bay” and “Power Bay Crimson”, and we can’t find any broken or blurry images.
※Power Bay and Power Bay Crimson support Switch Lite using, but does not support HDMI output.
First of all, as long as you don’t output the image with the HDMI port, while you are using Switch, you can normally use the Bluetooth function, also the expansion GC and USB port.
Secondly, for any devices with USB Type-C port and support DP Alt-Mode (such as MacBook Pro), you don’t need to buy the additional Type-C to HDMI converter, simply using the HDMI output function of “Power Bay" and “Power Bay Crimson” to display the image on your screen.
The Switch requires max 15V power to operate normally as well as allow playing games and charging to be conducted simultaneously, the voltage required for the entire charging process of Switch is constantly changing, and both "Power Bay" and "Power Bay Crimson" have the function to adjust the voltage accordingly to protect your lovely console.
Both “Power Bay” and “Power Bay Crimson” match PD 3.0 fast-charging standards and are able to stably transmit 18V power, ensuring your Switch doesn’t go LOCO.
Yes. To ease your mind, we have asked some gamers to test our products. Some have praised us, while others have criticized our products. We welcome all forms of feedback and let you, the customer, make up your own mind.
And there are more media reported or shared information about "Power Bay" with players, maybe you are also interesting about what they say.
As a responsible company that thinks ahead and prepares for the worst, we have done the following:
Simply put, if you don’t use any non-original manufacturer’s firmware or jailbreak your Switch, and “Power Bay” and “Power Bay Crimson” cause your Switch to malfunction, Brook will take care of the repair. If we can’t fix it, we will compensate you for our loss.
Even though we’ve worked so hard to make sure that the chances of malfunction are minuscule, we’ve even gone the extra mile and purchased global insurance for our products.
