  • Q1.Other Technical Questions - UFB-UP5

    Q: Can I use UFB-UP5 with other Brook fighting boards?

    A: 

         UFB-UP5 can be used with Universal Fighting Board, PS4+ Audio Fighting Board , PS3/PS4 Fighting Board

          PS3/PS4 Fighting Board Plus at the momentOther fighting boards are not supported.

     

    Q: I cannot use it on PS5, I have made sure all the wires are connected correctly

    A: 

       1. Make sure you have updated the firmware of your fighting board.

       2. UP5 is fighting board, it's mainly for playing fighting games.

           If you want to play other types of games, chances are they don't work.

           You can try to switch to LS mode to see if it works.

       3. If it still doesn't work after trying 1 and 2, the board may be defective

    6. Use another controller and retry
    7. Shorten cable length/Use another cable and retry
    8. Make sure you download the correct file
    9. If you have installed ZeroPlus Driver before, remove it and retry
    10. Disable antivirus and retry
    11. Run the program as administrator
    12. Use VPM and retry.

         If you have tried all the methods above and your problem still exists, log on to Brook’s official website, go to “Contact us” for assistance.

    Q : My board seems to be stuck in X input mode, it can just be used wired, and I can't update it, what can I do ?

    A: 

     1. Make sure the PCB is OFF. Easiest way is to unplug/replug the battery. Or, please install player LED to see if it's off.

     2. Hold down 2P (PS4) mode and plug it in to a PS4

     3. PCB will now be in standard PS4 mode and work fine.

    A:   It's actually the same as the PS3PS4 Fighting Board, it's the enlarged version.

          So please download the PS3PS4 Fighting Board firmware.

  • Q8.Defective - XB Fighting Board

    Q: The LED on the board never powers up again when it is on power.

    A: Yes, the board can be defective since the LED on the board indicates the board is supplied with power.

         Or, you may try other usb cables.
