Q: Neither the console nor the PC recognizes the board.

A: If none of the methods below helps, the board can be defective.

    1. Try other usb cables

    2. Go to Devices and Printers on PC(Windows10) to see if the board is recognized

Q: The LED on the board never powers up again when it is on power.

A: Yes, the board can be defective since the LED on the board indicates the board is supplied with power.

     Or, you may try other usb cables.

       1P for PS3

step 2 : While pressing, connect the board to PC or corresponding console

     3. Go to Devices and Printers on PC(Windows10) to see if the board is recognized (both Manual Mode and just plug it to PC)

Q: What does key lock do?

A: When key lock turns on, it disable the three buttons Menu, View and Guide.

     In addition, Turbo will not be allowed.

     Finally, the SOCD would be like hitbox.

Q: Does player LED and key lock LED the same?

A: No, they are different LEDs, which indicate different status.

Q: Can it be used wireless?

A: No, it can't.

Q: Can I map the buttons?

A: Yes, you can.

     With the Brook config software, you can do remap on PC.

Q: How can I connect to Xbox Original to use?

A: With your original usb cable, you need another Xbox Original Controller to female usb cable.

     So you need two cables to connect XB Fighting Board to Xbox Original.

Q: How do I use my stick wired or wirelessly?

A: 

   1. PS4 :   

     1.1 Wired : Simply connect the board to the console for wired use.   

     1.2 Wireless : Wired used first, disconnect the usb cable, then press the PS key, the board will reconnect with the console. 

   2. PS3   

     1.1 Wired : Simply connect the board to the console for wired use.   

     1.2 Wireless : Wired used first, disconnect the usb cable, then press the PS key, the board will reconnect with the console. 

   3. Nintendo Switch :   

     1.1 Wired : Simply connect the board to the console for wired use.   

     1.2 Wireless : Wired used first, disconnect the usb cable, then press the PS key, the board will reconnect with the console. 

   4. PC :   

     1.1 Wired : Simply connect the board to the PC for wired use.   

     1.2 Wireless : Hold down SHARE, then hold down PS Key for 2 seconds. If you have installed Player LED, then you’ll see the LED  intermittently flash, which shows the board has entered wireless pairing mode. At the moment, you should see  « Wireless Controller« in your Bluetooth device list to pair. 

Q: The board cannot be paired to the console.

A: If the power is too low, the board cannot be turned on to paired.

Q: Which battery should I choose?

A: Lithium-ion rechargeable battery, DC 3.6V to DC4.2V 

Q : My board seems to be stuck in X input mode, it can just be used wired, and I can't update it, what can I do ?

A: 

 1. Make sure the PCB is OFF. Easiest way is to unplug/replug the battery. Or, please install player LED to see if it's off.

 2. Hold down 2P (PS4) mode and plug it in to a PS4

 3. PCB will now be in standard PS4 mode and work fine.

Q : I wanted to know if there was a way to turn off the power to it in wireless bluetooth mode without disconnecting the battery?

A:  

   Long press and hold PS button to turn off the Wireless Fighting Board.
   Or turn off the controller from PS5, or turn off the controller from PS5.  

Q : Can it play Apple Arcade game on the Mac?

A: 

   Hold down 2P (PS4) mode and plug it in to a Mac

A: Just connect it to Raspberry Pi to use

Q: How to set and clear turbo?

A: 

    To set: Hold down Turbo Key + turbo available buttons

    To clear: Redo the procedure above again to clear turbo setting

Q: Can turbo frequency be set?

A: No, it can’t.

Q : Can it play Apple Arcade game on the Mac?

A: Hold down 1K (Switch) mode and plug it in to a Mac.

Q : When I connect  ZEOP-PI board to Wingman FGC , the  R2 and L2 buttons does not work, what can I do?

A :  Switch to PS3 / X-input mode on Zero-Pi and retry.

Q :  I have 2 Zero-Pi Fighting Boards, can i fixed positions for player 1/2 ,  when I restart the PC/ steam?

A :  No , you can not.

Q : Why can't I recognize the SELECT button when I use Wingman SNES to connect to Zero Pi Fighting Board?

A : Please switch the Zero Pi Fighting Board to PS3 mode (press and hold 1P to connect) to allow the Wingman SNES to recognize the SELECT button.

Q: What does J6 for? Is it for touchpad?

A: Yes, it is, and it's only for Brook touchpad. Contact your retailer to buy one if you want.

Q: What are M1 and M2 for?

A: They are for motors.

Q : Is it possible to switch SOCD mode in v2.4 m1? I have tried several times to update the firmware, but your update software only allows me to select v2.4 m1. I need CAPCOM neutral SOCD mode for my board, what can i do ?

Q : My UFB + UP5 cannot play PS5 fighting games and shows " PS5 games cannot be played with the current controller " ?  What can I do ?

A : Update the firmware.

B : Try other USB cable.

 * Hold down Option (menu) button and then plug USB cable to PC / console to switch back to the automatic detection mode.

Q : My UFB does not work on Xbox one ?  What can I do ?

While 2 on the dip switch correspond to 2 button , which means is 2P (PS4/PS5 mode)

1P for PS3

Q : I don’t know how to do firmware update, how can I do?

A : There’s firmware update guide for you to download and read.

     You can download it from Brook’s official website.

Q : I have some problem with firmware update.

A : Should you have any problem, please try the troubleshooting methods as below :

a.   Make sure it recognizes " WPM USB " device (update mode) in Device and Printers on PC then to do firmware.  
b.   Make sure you download the correct file.
c.   Switch another USB port and retry.
d.   Disable antivirus and retry.
e.   Run the program as administrator.
f.    Restart PC and retry.
g.   Restart firmware and retry.
h.   Use another PC and retry.
i.    Disconnect, reconnect and retry.
j.    Use other network.
K.   Use VPM and retry.
l.    Shorten cable length/Use another cable and retry.

m.  If you have installed ZeroPlus Driver before, remove it and retry.

Q : I try to update the firmware for my fighting board , It keeps giving me the message

" Downlaod file failed  " and "The remote server returned an error: 227 " ,  What can i do ?
