    Q: Why is my StarBurst not connecting to the PC when using the Fighting Board Center software?
     

    A: Please ensure that your StarBurst is switched to PC Mode (XID mode) before launching the Fighting Board Center software. The software will not detect the device unless it is already in PC Mode.

    How to switch and connect to PC Mode:

    1. Unplug the StarBurst USB cable from your PC.
    2. Press and hold the "L1 (4P)" button on the controller.
    3. While holding down the button, plug the USB cable back into a USB port on your PC.
    4. Once the device is successfully in PC Mode, launch the Fighting Board Center software to configure your settings.

    Note: This step will automatically save the selected platform setting. If you use the same platform next time, you can proceed directly by just plugging in the cable.
